Williamsburg Overlay started with a hand drawn image from a roof at North 8th and Wythe Ave. A digital video loop is projected over the drawing, showing only things that are changing from one instant to the next. The code used for this technique was written in Processing. It compares pixels and edits out all the ones that are not changing.
